WEBINAR CULTURE AND DEVELOPMENT
On 15 October 2020 our Embassy and the Italian Agency for Development Cooperation (AICS) in Yangon hosted a Webinar on “Cultural Heritage Conservation, Community Engagement and Sustainable Development”.
On the occasion of the 2020 edition of the Festival of Sustainable Development organised by ASVIS, we shared the lessons learnt from the Italian Development Cooperation in Southeast Asia in the last 20 years.
Several experts from UN Agencies, Italian institutions and Non Governmental Organizations joined the Italian Ambassador to Myanmar, H.E. Mrs. Alessandra Schiavo, and the Head of AICS Yangon, Mr. Walter Zucconi, in describing the activities that Italy has carried out in this Region to promote culture heritage and sustainability.
Over 200 persons from both Italy and Myanmar attended the Webinar.
