The Embassy of Italy in Yangon manages the consular district of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar.<\/p>\n
The Embassy represents the following countries for the purpose of issuing Schengen visas: Malta, Slovenia.<\/p>\n
Appointments to submit visa applications must be booked using the online reservation system Prenot@mi<\/a><\/strong>. The service is available in Italian and English. Users must confirm their reservations from 10 to 3 days before the date of the appointment. In the absence of confirmation, the system will automatically cancel the appointment. To confirm the appointment, you need to access your personal account, then click on \u201cmy appointments\u201d, enter the \u201cbooking code\u201d and finally click \u201cconfirm\u201d. It is not possible to confirm the appointment by email or telephone.<\/p>\n Foreign relatives of Italian, EU\/EEA, and Swiss citizens can request an appointment by directly writing to visti.yangon@esteri.it<\/a>.<\/p>\n The Prenot@mi reservation system is entirely free<\/strong>. No payment of any kind is required to get an appointment.<\/p>\n We warn all users against anyone who claims to be able to arrange appointments in a shorter time by receiving a sum of money and we recommend\u00a0not\u00a0<\/strong>paying for any service of this type.\u00a0The Embassy of Italy in Yangon completely and unequivocally dissociates itself from any website, agency or person that may have or is still carrying out such activity and reserves every right to take all necessary action in this regard.<\/p>\n Both parents of minors applying for a visa have to be present at the appointment in order to jointly sign the minor\u2019s application and, in case the minor is travelling with only one of the parents or with a third person, also the necessary form available here<\/a>.<\/p>\n
