Gen. Min Aung Hlaing, with whom he agreed on the excellent status of the bilateral relations between the two countries.<?xml:namespace prefix = \"o\" ns = \"urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office\" \/><o:p><\/o:p><\/FONT><\/SPAN><\/P><P style=\"TEXT-ALIGN: justify; LINE-HEIGHT: normal; MARGIN: 0cm 0cm 0pt; mso-layout-grid-align: none\" class=\"MsoNormal\"><SPAN style=\"FONT-FAMILY: 'Times New Roman','serif'; FONT-SIZE: 12pt; mso-ansi-language: EN-US\" lang=\"EN-US\"><o:p><FONT color=\"#000000\">\u00a0<\/FONT><\/o:p><\/SPAN><\/P><br \/>\n<P style=\"TEXT-ALIGN: justify; LINE-HEIGHT: normal; MARGIN: 0cm 0cm 0pt; mso-layout-grid-align: none\" class=\"MsoNormal\"><SPAN style=\"FONT-FAMILY: 'Times New Roman','serif'; FONT-SIZE: 12pt; mso-ansi-language: EN-US\" lang=\"EN-US\"><FONT color=\"#000000\">The Senior General, assisted by the Deputy Commander in Chief, Deputy Senior General Soe Win, made reference to Italy in very positive terms. By recalling how the bilateral diplomatic relations, established in 1950, cooled down following the repression of the 1988 uprisings which led to the fall of Gen.
