{"id":1265,"date":"2018-08-22T08:09:18","date_gmt":"2018-08-22T01:39:18","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/ambyangon.esteri.it\/news\/dall_ambasciata\/2018\/08\/duo-alterno-italian-concert-at\/"},"modified":"2018-08-22T08:09:18","modified_gmt":"2018-08-22T01:39:18","slug":"duo-alterno-italian-concert-at","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/ambyangon.esteri.it\/it\/news\/dall_ambasciata\/2018\/08\/duo-alterno-italian-concert-at\/","title":{"rendered":"&#8220;Duo Alterno&#8221; &#8211; Italian concert at Melia Hotel &#8211; 7 September 2018 at 7 p.m."},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The Embassy of Italy is glad to annouce <strong>Duo Alterno<\/strong>, a concert performed by pianist Riccardo Piacentini and soprano Tiziana Scandaletti, which will take place on <strong>Friday 7 September 2018<\/strong>, at <strong>7:00 p.m.<\/strong> at the <strong>Inya Ballroom<\/strong> of <strong>Melia Hotel Yangon<\/strong>, in the framework of the cultural program \u201cItaly in Myanmar 2018\u201d.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">ADMISSION IS FREE, no registration is required.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">On the occasion of the celebration of its twentieth anniversary of musical career, Duo Alterno will perform a concert made of \u201cfoto-songs\u201d, music and images collected in over 50 countries and linked to an Italian voice-piano repertoire. The performance will include pieces from some of the greatest Italian composers such as Gioacchino Rossini, the Academy Award Winner Ennio Morricone \u2013 who has dedicated to Duo Alterno a special version of his \u201cEpitaffi Sparsi\u201d \u2013 and Luciano Berio with his \u201cTango un po\u2019 caricaturale\u201d, one of the best songs of the last decades that genially mixes popular and cultural traditions.
