Meeting dedicated to the urban development of Yangon

Ambassador Alessandra Schiavo attended the Coordination Partners Group Meeting dedicated to the urban development of Yangon, chaired by the Chief Minister of the Yangon Region Government U Pyo Min Thein.
In his opening remarks, Chief Minister U Pyo Min Thein underlined the importance of preserving the heritage and the multi-cultural environment of Yangon Downtown: these fundamental elements are exactly in line with the development cooperation strategy carried out by Italy in Myanmar, which has been illustrated by Ambassador Schiavo and Yangon Heritage Trust.
