The Embassy has brought for the first time Italian cinema to Mandalay. Our country has been one of the first to contribute to the EU decision to extend the European Film Festival to second city in Myanmar. The reaction of the public to the movie proposed – “La pazza gioia” by Paolo Virzì – was totally enthusiastic, both in Mandalay and at the screenings in Yangon.
