The Embassy of Italy in Yangon hosted the second edition of the “Culture, Design, Heritage, Art Fair by Italy” on 8 February 2026, totaling more than 1000 visitors.
The event continues the commitment of Italy towards the promotion of exchanges between Italian and Myanmar people and the support of Myanmar artistic expressions and civil society.
This year’s edition featured a number of artists and experts from Italy that are active in various field such as painting, photography, heritage protection, accompanied by a rich program of activities from 10:00 a.m. until 9:30 p.m. in the evening.
The Fair was also the occasion to celebrate the 2026 Italian Design Day, with special screenings of documentaries and photographs that narrated the story of iconic Italian design in cinema and theatre, thanks to the support of ICE, the Italian Trade Agency.
