Visit of the Ambassador to the HIV and AIDS Clinic

Italy and Myanmar are linked together not only at the institutional level, but also thanks to the good actions carried out by their two peoples.
Ambassador Alessandra Schiavo, accompanied by Senator Albertina Soliani from the “Italy-Myanmar Giuseppe Malpeli Friendship Association”, paid a visit to the HIV and AIDS Clinic run by Ms. Phyu Phyu Thin, member of the Union Parliament and historical advocate for the rights of people with HIV/AIDS. A separate meeting took place at the U Hla Tun Hospice (Cancer) Foundation. Both visits were an occasion to appreciate the commitment of Myanmar civil society in helping those in need.
