Sardinian Food and Wine

The three events organized by the Embassy of Italy on 18-19 October to promote Sardinian culture, food and wine, as well as tourism to this beautiful Island, have achieved a wide involvement of the Burmese sector operators (F&B importers, hotel chains and travel agencies). On the 18th there was a buffet dinner; in the morning of the 19th a “wine and cheese tasting”; in the evening of the same day a mouth-watering Gala Dinner, organized in collaboration with the Chaîne des Rôtisseurs de Birmanie. All the events were characterized by the performance of Sardinian artists and singers in their traditional costumes: the Folk Group “Saludos” from Nuoro, the Tenores of the “San Gavino di Oniferi” group, the actor Gianluca Medas and the harmonicist William Taxi Rossi (aka Willyboy).
