5TH WEEK OF THE ITALIAN CUISINE IN THE WORLD
On the occasion of the 5th Week of the Italian Cuisine in the World, and observing the restrictions to contain the spread of Covid-19, the Embassy of Italy in Yangon and the Italian Trade Agency in Bangkok have organized a virtual tour through the Italian culinary tradition accompanied by the food blogger Su Wai.
From November 23rd to 30th the Facebook Page of the Embassy hosted posts and videos focused on some typical Italian flavours, recipes and ingredients.
The Italian Chefs Nicolino Lalla and Alessandro Strippoli, together with sommelier Gavin Davin, have been among the protagonists of the videos produced especially for the occasion and for the Myanmar public.
Other videos, relating to pizza, pasta and the Mediterranean diet have also been published, to celebrate the 200th anniversary of the birth of Pellegrino Artusi, author of “The Science of Cooking and the Art of Eating Well”, a cornerstone of the Italian culinary and literary tradition.
